Commentary:
Lightrace 9000 A.D. is the shortest song on Iron Metropolis. It is surrounded by a lot of heavy hitters and finds itself easy to get lost, but I like peppy little Lightrace 9000 A.D. It's fast, fun, and a good throwback to the earliest Omega Ronin albums.

Unlike Synthwave Noir and Iron Metropolis (the song,) there's no big, expensive synthesizers in here. I pecked away on the keyboard and mouse and crafted this one on a piano roll in FL Studio.

The bassline is super fun and plucky, and the lead synth is de-tuned to show some age, which I think gives it character. I don't remember why I called it Lightrace 9000 A.D., but clearly, this song deserves to be called that.
