Omega Ronin: Whispers in Turbo Mode Song Commentary
There's a fun story behind this song (which I rather enjoy a lot.) So, this it the first Omega Ronin song to use the SP-404MKII sampler, which I bought for a different project.
It's not very "Ronin-y", but, I sampled all the parts from 'Ronin gear and then mixed it up into that funky beat using the SP-404, which is very capable but also hard to learn if you're used to editing everything on a computer like I am.
To make a long story short, I came up with a cool beat but it wasn't enough for a complete song, so I sat on it for a few months until I decided to find the original recordings (pre-sampling) and then remixed them into a finished song. The end result is a mix of the sampled recordings and the original recordings with some last-minute additions from the Juno.
