I hate to throw away a good sequence, even if I don't know what to do with it. In one late-night recording session, I created a nice beat on the TR-8S and hooked it up to a funky bassline on the Matriarch. I played with the filter to give it that fun DJ sound, and it turned out pretty rad.
But, I wasn't sure how to finish it, so it sat on my computer for a while. A few weeks later, I layered some sparkly Juno keys on top with a bit of old-school nu-wave on the bottom. It worked, and it reminds me of the 25th century.
Glittertron 2479, where everything is just that much more awesome.
