Breathing Concrete came from the same recording session as An Albatross Named Desire.
I created a cool late 80s industrial bassline and then somehow stumbled upon a lead with this endless delay effect that seemed to complement it nicely.
This song was probably created in spring of 2024 but, because it didn't fit on Sirens, spent most of the year sitting on my iPad. I picked it back up at the end of the year, finished it with the lead and drums, and here it is.
It's hard to believe that most of this song comes from a $20 app on the iPad with a boatload of producing effects on top of it.
